Women’s ice hockey team to face US in knockout stages in Beijing

The Czech women’s ice hockey team were beaten 3:2 by Japan after overtime at the Winter Olympics in Beijing on Tuesday. The result means that the Czechs finished second in Group B.

They will now face defending Olympic champions the United States in the knockout stages.
