Czechs beat China 3-1 in women’s hockey Olympic debut

Czech Republic’s women’s ice hockey team have won their debut at the Beijing Olympics. In their first match on Thursday, they beat the Chinese team 3-1.

Tereza Radová was the country’s first woman to score in the Olympics, followed by Denisa Křížová and Michaela Pejzlarová.

In the second match of Group B on Saturday, the Czechs will face Sweden.
