2021 Czech net gain from EU budget reaches CZK 88 billion

The Czech Republic drew around CZK 88 billion more from the European Union budget in 2021 than it put in, according to data released by the Czech Ministry of Finance on Tuesday. This net gain was an increase of around CZK 2.5 billion on 2020.

The country has been a net beneficiary of EU funding since it joined the bloc in 2004.
