Prague City Hall taking measures to support circular economy

Prague City Hall is preparing dozens of projects to help develop the circular economy, Deputy Mayor Petr Hlubuček told Czech Radio. He said the focus of a strategic plan approved by the City Council on Thursday night, was on recycling of construction and household waste, greater use of rainwater and development of urban agriculture. The aim is to minimize the generation of waste, and once waste is generated, to  turn it into new resources, Hlubuček said. The measures are targeted at four main areas - construction, water management, agriculture and waste.
