Ministry readying compulsory vaccines plan that new govt. may overturn

The Czech Ministry of Health is preparing a decree mandating Covid vaccinations for the over 60s and those working in certain professions, such as healthcare, the police or the fire service, the outgoing minister of health, Adam Vojtěch, told reporters. The measure is due to take effect from March next year.

However, the compulsory vaccinations could be overturned by the Czech government currently being formed. Its Covid specialist team said on Friday that it was not in favour of such a move.
