Farná, Ztracený and Mirai dominate Czech Nightingale awards

The Český slavík (Czech Nightingale) awards gala ceremony took place at the Karlin Music Theatre on Friday night after a four year break in the poll. Ewa Farná was voted best female singer, while Marek Ztracený was top in the male singers’ category and an also absolute winner of this year’s poll getting over 48,000 votes.  Mirai picked up the Best Band award. More than 216,000 voters took part in the Czech Nightingale poll this year, the most since it was established in 1962.
