Agency: Cyber incidents relatively high in October, health system targeted

The Czech National and Cyber and Security Information Agency recorded 14 cyber incidents in October, which was the second highest number for one month since March, when it registered 30.

Most of the hacking attacks did not have serious consequences and were quickly resolved.

The agency said that the Czech medical system remained the focus of pressure from hackers. A rise in the registered number of attacks on Czech hospitals is in part due to the fact more now have to report such incidences.
