Bohemia Energy CEO apologizes for letting down clients
Jiří Písařík, co-owner and managing director of Bohemia Energy, which announced its shut-down earlier this month due to soaring European gas prices has apologized for letting down the company’s 900,000 clients. He stressed that the company, which was the largest group of alternative energy suppliers in the Czech Republic, was not insolvent and had shut down in order to avoid bankruptcy. He said the company planned to return overpayments to its clients. Písařík also criticized the so- called “suppliers of last resort” for upping costs, saying they had abused the situation.
