PM admits ANO party used “imagination” in Pirates migrants claim

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš says his ANO party used some “imagination” in suggesting prior to the elections that the Pirate Party would place migrants in voters’ cottages. Mr. Babiš made the admission in an interview in the newspaper Mladá fronta Dnes on Saturday. The accusation is regarded as having impacted on the Pirates' showing in last month's elections.

The outgoing PM leader said the nascent five-party coalition government were united only in their hatred of him and criticised their creation of new cabinet positions.

Mr. Babiš refused to comment on speculation he may run for president.
