Education minister concerned school Covid plans insufficient
The Czech minister of education, Robert Plaga, is concerned that efforts to protect school children from Covid-19 in the coming months may be insufficient. In a letter to the minister of health, Adam Vojtěch, cited on Saturday by the Czech News Agency, Mr. Plaga said that it was unclear how the Ministry of Health would provide schools with the results of PCR tests that are due to be carried out in areas where outbreaks of coronavirus have occurred.
The minister of education wrote that public health officials were at present failing to trace those who are infected and said it was unacceptable that pupils only receive PCR tests at regular sampling points.
