Škoda resumes production after 14-day break due to computer chip shortage

The Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto is resuming production at most of its plants on Sunday evening after a two-week stoppage due to a shortage of computer chips.

During the break, Škoda concentrated on finishing some 10,000 vehicles in order speed up the delivery to customers. However, up to 50,000 cars remain unfinished.
