Czech firm Rossum, building AI platform to process documents, gets $100mn investment
The Czech company Rossum, which is building a platform for processing documents circulating between companies with the help of artificial intelligence, has received an investment of $100 million (2.2 billion crowns).
It is the third-highest investment ever received by a Czech start-up and among the largest ever Series A investment in central and eastern Europe. The investment was led by General Catalyst, a US venture capital fund. It was joined by existing Rossum investors, including the British funds SeedCamp and Local Globe, as well as the Czech company Miton, and Elad Gil, co-founder and CEO of Mixer Labs.
