Voting in Czech elections starts in North and South America Thursday

Voting in the Czech general elections gets underway for Czechs living in North and South America on Thursday. People in Brazil and Argentina can cast their ballots at the countries' Czech embassies from 19:00 Central European Time. An hour later voting will begin on the East Coast of the United States and Canada and in Cuba.

The polls open in the Czech Republic on Friday at 2 pm and close at the same time the following day.
