Babiš says he would quit politics rather than enter opposition

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš says if he does not retain power after next weekend’s elections he will quit politics. Mr. Babiš reiterated on the radio station Frekvence 1 that he was ready to talk to all parties after the vote, apart from the Pirates. But he said he was not like Minister of Culture Lubomír Zaorálek who had been an MP for three decades and achieved little.

The PM, a billionaire businessman, said he had entered politics as a manager and was unable to speak. He also said he would not like to become president.
