Covid-19: average age of vaccinated hospital patients is 74

People having to be treated in hospital for Covid-19, despite being vaccinated, are on average 74 years old. The average age of an unvaccinated patient is 55, according to Ministry of Health data for September.

Roughly 55.5 percent of the Czech population has completed vaccination, which does not always prevent infection but does protect against a serious course of Covid-19.
