Football: Patrik Schick among players picked for World Cup qualifiers

The list of Czech players selected for the next qualifying matches for the World Cup in Qatar was published on Wednesday. Among them is Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick, who is recovering from an injury.

Jan Bořil, Ondřej Čelůstka, Lukáš Masopust and Petr Ševčík are also back in the 22-man roster, to which coach Jaroslav Šilhavý is to add another striker in the coming days. The Czechs host Wales in Prague on October 8 before moving to Kazan, Russia to face Belarus on October 11.
