Highest new infections number since late May recorded Monday
Some 672 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the Czech Republic on Monday, the highest figure seen since May 24 and around 200 more than on Monday last week.
The number of people hospitalised with the coronavirus now stands at 206, with 36 of those patients in a critical condition.
The reproduction number has increased, from 1.06 to 1.12.
The Prague and Moravia-Silesia regions currently have the highest per capita infection rate.
