Officials: Zeman has no life-threatening illness
Medical tests on Czech President Miloš Zeman have not identified any problems that could put his life at risk, his office said. No reason was given when Mr. Zeman was admitted to Prague’s Central Military Hospital on Tuesday. A statement published on the website of Prague Castle on Thursday said he had been suffering from dehydration and exhaustion.
The head of state will leave hospital in the coming days and will resume official engagements from Wednesday.
Mr. Zeman suffers from diabetes and neuropathy of the feet and is confined to a wheelchair.
