President Zeman: NATO needs to undergo fundamental reform

According to Czech President Miloš Zeman, the North Atlantic Alliance needs to undergo fundamental reform and take stock of its purpose and priorities. In an interview for Blesk, Mr. Zeman criticized NATO’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, saying that the alliance should cease to be a service organization for the United States and implement greater equality among its members. According to the Czech president, NATO needs to redefine its enemy, which he said is international terrorism, not Russia.
