Olympics: Veselý and Vadlejch reach men’s javelin final

Czech athletes Vítězslav Veselý and Jakub Vadlejch have qualified for the men’s javelin final at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, due to take place on Saturday.

Jakub Vadlejch finished fourth in the qualification with a final throw of 84.04 meters. Veselý and Vadlejch finished in the 7th and 8th spot respectively at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics five years ago.
