Prague public transport company raises ticket prices

New prices for single tickets for public transport took effect in Prague since Sunday. For a 30-minute ticket, the tariff rose from 24 to 30 crowns; for a 90-minute ticket, from 32 to 40 crowns. SMS tickets now cost 31 crowns for 30 minutes and 42 crowns for 90 minutes.

A discounted monthly ticket for socially disadvantaged people is also being introduced (165 crowns). All other monthly, quarterly and annual tariffs remain unchanged.
