Slight increase in Covid cases on Thursday
The Czech Republic registered 203 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, which is 10 more than on the same day last week, according to data released by the Ministry of Health. The daily incidence of new cases had been dropping for close to a fortnight. The reproduction number has increased slightly from 0.8 to 0.9. There are now on average 12 new cases a week per 100,000 inhabitants. Around 50 people are currently hospitalized with Covid, of which nine are in a serious condition.
