Youth who spray painted Charles Bridge turns himself over to police

The youth who spray-painted Charles Bridge late last week turned himself over to the police on Saturday following the release of video footage from a security camera where he was captured in the company of a young woman. Officers say they know the young woman’s identity as well, but have not released any details on the case since both are aged under 18. Meanwhile conservationists are working to remove the graffiti, which they expect will take several days. The damage has been estimated at around 100,000 crowns.
