Hamáček: Slovakia to reopen border crossings with Czechia

Slovakia has decided to open all border crossings with the Czech Republic by the end of this week and switch to random traveller checks, Czech Interior Minister Jan Hamáček tweeted on Wednesday, citing his Slovak counterpart.

Slovakia unexpectedly closed several border crossings between the two countries on Monday, fearing the spread of coronavirus.  This has led to some of the local administrations in the border towns issuing notes of protest.
