Covid vaccination: Czech Republic slightly behind EU average

The Czech Republic ranks 17th in Europe in Covid-19 vaccination rate. Over three and a half million people have been fully vaccinated in the Czech Republic against Covid-19 since December 27, when inoculation was launched in the country. That figure represents nearly 33 percent of the population.

Malta has the highest vaccination rate in Europe with nearly 76 percent of the population being fully vaccinated, followed by Hungary and Cyprus. The EU average stands at 35 percent.
