TOP 09 chief: Feri can return to party if he clears name

Dominik Feri can return to TOP 09 if he clears his name following allegations of sexual impropriety, the chairwoman of the party, Markéta Pekarová Adamová, says. However, this could take several years, she said.

Speaking on Czech Television, the TOP 09 chief said voters would appreciate the fact Mr. Feri had given up his seat in the Chamber of Deputies soon after a number of allegations against him emerged, adding that she did not think the matter would impact the party’s performance in elections in October, when they are running in the Together coalition with the Civic Democrats and the Christian Democrats.
