Brno Airport resuming flights to London as travel restrictions relax

The first direct flight to London from Brno Airport since anti-coronavirus travel restrictions is due to depart on Friday, with Ryanair resuming the connection after the relaxation of measures. Fewer than a hundred passengers are expected to make the maiden trip.

Last year, during the height of the pandemic in Europe, Brno Airport handled 86,089 passengers. This year it expects around 250,000, with regular flights to Bulgaria, Egypt, Turkey and Greek islands of Zakynthos, Rhodes, Crete, Kos and Corfu this summer.
