Austria ends border checks with Czech Republic

Austria has ended border checks on its borders with the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the Czech News Agency reported on Saturday. Travelers are still required to carry the necessary documentation with them, such as proof of having been vaccinated against COVID-19, or a negative test result.

The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed via Twitter that border crossings, several of which have been closed until now, will also be reopened.
