Czechia officially registers for Beijing Olympics

The Czech Republic has officially registered to take part in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. President Miloš Zeman and Czech Olympic Committee chairman Jiří Kejval signed the relevant document on Wednesday at Prague Castle.

The Beijing Games are slated to begin on 4 February 2022. The Chinese capital will be the first venue to host the Olympics both during the winter and summer.
