Vaccine register opens to people over 45

The central vaccine register opened to people over 45 at midnight on Monday. There are currently some 839,000 people in this age group living in the Czech Republic. Over 131,000 of them have already received a vaccine since they belong to a priority group.

The register will open to the over 40s next week and as of June 1 it should be open to anyone interested. Over one million people have received both doses of a Covid vaccine to date, over 3.6 million vaccines have been administered in all. According to the results of a CVVM poll three fifths of Czechs want to get vaccinated.
