Canoeist Přindiš takes gold at European Championships

The Czech Republic’s Vít Přindiš took gold at the Canoe Slalom European Championships in Italy’s Ivrea on Saturday. The 23-year-old finished less than a second ahead of Italy’s Giovanni de Gennaro, suceeding his compatriot Jiří Prskavec as the men’s K1 canoe slalom European champion. Another Czech, Vavřinec Hradilek, finished in the fourth place.
