Covid-19: Sunday sees fewest new cases since early September

On Sunday, 504 new cases of Covid-19 contamination were detected in the Czech Republic, the lowest daily total since September 6, and 320 few than a week ago, according to Ministry of Health data.

The number of new cases has steadily dropped over the past few week, and the reproduction rate index fell from 0.89 to 0.88 on Sunday. To date, 3.2 million doses of vaccine have been administered, and over 1 million people, nearly 10 percent of the population, have received two doses.
