Covid-19: Hundreds gather at Prague’s Střelecký Island, Letná plein, to protest restrictions

About 250 people took part Saturday in protest against government anti-coronavirus measures organized by the bloc of independent MP Lubomír Volný at Prague’s Střelecký Island and later at Letná plein.

Few participants wore facemasks at the events, both of which lasted for about an hour. Police officers called on them to comply with anti-coronavirus measures or risk fines of several thousand crowns.
