Three police officers investigated for widespread information leaks

The General Inspectorate of the Security Forces (GIBS) has accused three police officers of widespread information leaks. According to the inspectorate’s findings, they provided influential entrepreneurs with information about investigations involving their persons or companies. They face charges of breach of confidentiality, abuse of position and giving and accepting bribes for which they could face three to ten years in jail. The case is being supervised by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Olomouc.
