Less than 1,000 new Covid cases recorded Sunday

Some 823 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the Czech Republic on Sunday, the lowest one-day rise seen since September 13. Relatively few tests are usually conducted on Sundays.

The number hospitalised with the virus stood at 3,913, the fewest since mid-October.

The coronavirus reproduction number remains at 0.73.
