Russia to retaliate for expulsion of Prague embassy staff over blast involvement

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will take retaliatory action the Czech Republic expelled 18 Russian Embassy staff it said were spies and said there was evidence Russian agents were behind a 2014 bombing that killed two.

Officials in Moscow said on Sunday that the influence of the United States could be seen behind the Czech Republic’s action, which they regarded as an act of provocation.

The Kremlin also said that accusations that Russia was responsible for massive explosions at a munitions depot in Vrbětice, Moravia in 2014 that left two people dead.
