Government’s inoculation campaign ready to roll
The government is launching a Covid-19 vaccination campaign, with the first TV spots due to be aired on Monday evening. The campaign aims to counter fake news about the negative side-effects of inoculation and reassure the public about the safety of the vaccines used. The goal is for 70 percent of the Czech population to register for vaccination. The government paid 4.2 million crowns for the campaign which features epidemiologists, celebrities as well as ordinary people. It has been criticized for failing to launch the campaign months ago.
