Labour minister wants bonus for moms in reformed pension system
Labour and Social Affairs Minister Jana Maláčová, whose ministry has been working on a reform of the pension system, will propose and amendment according to which women who have brought up one or more children should get an additional five hundred crowns per month as a bonus to their pensions. The bonus should concern around one and a half million people. Men would also be entitled to the bonus if they fulfil the respective conditions. A survey by Czech Television indicates that the proposal would receive support across the political spectrum.
