Price of apartments in panel houses up by nearly 20 percent

The price of apartments in panel houses in the Czech Republic increased by 19.5 percent year-on-year in February to CZK 38,452 per square metre, suggests a study carried out by the company Reas.

The most expensive flats in panel houses were in Prague, with an average cost of CZK 82,313 per square metre, while the cheapest ones were in the region of Ústí nad Labem (CZK 17,491 per square metre).

Prices of brick apartments increased by 10.8 percent on the previous year to CZK 39,883. The difference between the prices of brick and panel house has dropped to CZK 2,688 per square metre.
