Number of hospitalised lowest since end of February

The Czech Republic registered 3,955 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, around 1,500 fewer than the figure for the same day last week, according to Health Ministry data.

There are now 7,337 people hospitalized with Covid, which is the lowest figure since the end of February. Around 1,800 of them are in a serious condition.

Over 5,000 people died of Covid-19 related complications in March, which is the highest monthly figure since the outbreak of the epidemic in the country.
