Covid: new cases down, reproduction number lowest since mid-January
The Czech Republic registered 7,654 new cases of Covid-19 cases on Friday, according to Health Ministry data. It is the lowest figure for a working day since the start of February.
The reproduction number has also declined slightly and now stands at 0.79, the lowest figure since January 18.
There are now 7,858 people hospitalized with Covid, of which 1,845 are in a serious condition.
