Minister: Younger elementary pupils will alternate classroom and home
The Czech minister of education, Robert Plaga, says that when elementary school pupils in first to fifth grade return to school they will alternate between one week in class and one week at home.
The minister made the comment following a meeting with opposition leaders at which he laid out the government’s plans to bring children back to school.
However, Mr. Plaga refused to say when Czech schools might reopen their classrooms; he said this would be a decision for the Ministry of Health.
