Babiš says he believes Czechs will be able to travel abroad in summer
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš says he believes things will return to normal in the Czech Republic in July and that Czechs will be able to holiday abroad in the summer. Speaking on CNN Prima NEWS on Thursday, Mr. Babiš said that he was convinced that enough people would be vaccinated by the end of June to make this possible. He said he hoped things would be clearer after Easter and that the government should then be able to announce binding dates.
The Czech leader said conversations were taking place at EU level on the creation of a “Covid passport”. He said agreement would need to be reached by the end of May on the form it would take as people started going on holiday in June.
