West Ham’s Souček again named Czech Footballer of Year

Tomáš Souček has been named Czech Footballer of the Year for the second year in a row. The midfielder was way out in front in the poll of sports journalists, finishing ahead of his West Ham United teammate Vladimír Coufal. Third place went to Vladimír Darida of Hertha Berlin.

Souček - who is the most expensive Czech player ever - has enjoyed great success since joining West Ham in January 2020, becoming a major star in England’s Premier League.
