Rážová leaves office as chief hygiene officer
The country’s chief hygiene officer Jarmila Rážová leaves office on Sunday. She was recalled from the post by Health Ministr Jan Blatný, who refused to give the press any reasons for his decision, merely indicating that they were professional and not personal. Rážová, who has been in office since the pandemic started, will be temporarily replaced by the head of the Moravia-Silesia Hygiene Office Pavla Svrčinová.
