Babiš: Cabinet reshuffle not on agenda at present
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš says he is not planning to make any personnel changes in his cabinet at the present time. He made the comment after President Miloš Zeman said he wanted the PM to remove Jan Blatný as health minister over his position on Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine. Mr. Blatný says it should not be used in the Czech Republic without EU approval.
Mr. Zeman also said Mr. Babiš should replace the minister of foreign affairs, Tomáš Petříček.
The prime minister said he had taken cognizance of the president’s call but that the cabinet had other matters to deal with at the moment.
