Hamáček: 35 British variant Covid cases detected in CR to date

Some 35 cases of the so-called British mutation of Covid-19 have been confirmed to date in the Czech Republic, says the head of the national coronavirus task force, Jan Hamáček.

Speaking on Wednesday, Mr. Hamáček said the general situation surrounding the virus in the country was not improving and that he did not see any room for a relaxation of the current restrictions, which include the sale of only essential items and the closure of restaurants and hotels.
