Conditions for Czech cross-border workers in Austria still being negotiated
Czech cross-border workers employed in Austria will not have to produce a negative Covid -19 test at the border from February 1, as previously announced, the Czech Foreign Ministry says on its web page.
The ministry says negotiations with Austria on the conditions for cross border workers are still continuing and the outcome will be announced soon.
The original agreement was that cross-border workers would need to produce a test no older than 72 hours. Cross-border workers employed in Bavaria are having to produce three negative Covid tests a week, those working in Saxony two.
