Snowfall below average so far this winter

Snowfall has been below average for the time of year in the Czech Republic so far this winter, the Czech News Agency said, citing a blog by meteorologist Pavel Zahradníček.

Mr. Zahradníček wrote that the country’s second city, Brno, had seen only 45 percent of the long-term average amount of snow, while Doksany in North Bohemia had seen only 6 percent.
