Cinema operators reject planned new level four conditions
Czech cinema operators have questioned the conditions under which they may be allowed to open if Covid-19 restrictions are eased. When the government’s tiered system of measures is revised from Monday, cinemas will be allowed to fill 20 percent of seats in level four of the five-level system. Audience members would also need to submit a negative Covid test and wear a respirator.
However, cinema operators on Tuesday told the Czech News Agency that such strict conditions would cause them to lose even more money than if their screening halls were completely closed, as at present.
